Rep Power: 21 | You may want to take a look at the products you’re using both at home and at the salon. You’ll want to make sure none of the products you’re currently using contain “SPF”. You could also try exfoliating your skin with a good quality body wash. If you have dry skin that will reduce the tan you get. Secondly, if you’re not taking care of your skin with a good moisturizer and tanning lotion the results will be less than you desire. Tanning indoors or out for that matter takes more work than just showing up at the salon and laying in the bed for 20 minutes. Achieving a deep dark tan requires a lifestyle change when it comes to skin care and the products you use. Using the wrong products or nothing at all won’t give you the results you’re looking for. Many people feel like a salon tries to sell them more than they need when signing up for a package. However, using a good indoor lotion, moisturizer and exfoliating wash can and will make a huge difference in the tan you get. I prove this in my salon on a daily basis. Get serious about your tan. Get you’re money’s worth by following the advice of the salon staff. Sure, we are in the business to sell tanning and the products associated with tanning. But it does make a difference in the end. That’s a fact! |
