Rep Power: 0 | Ok.. have been tanning for over a month. Got slightly pink the first time only and have been building a nice tan. I've been using a plain tanning lotion and today I realized the bottle I had was almost gone. I used what I had on my chest and back and the lady who works there said I could use a sample of something she had labeled 'Hot Siren Hot'.... ok. So I go and put it on my legs, arms and feet.... I went my normal 18 minutes and came out FRIED!!!! I mean I am burned. Right when I got out, I could already see how burned my feet were and my arms were. I noticed while I was in that I felt it more tingly etc but thought it was just because it was new lotion.. never thought I was getting burned. I came right home and got in a cool bath but I am blown away how burned I am and don't know what it is or why this happened... any ideas |

Even if you take a cold bath, the redness and tingle feeling will still be present. You have to just wait it out.... You may feel burnt right now, but tomorrow you will wake up with the best color you have ever had!! If you are not used to using a "hot" or "tingle" lotion, this feeling can be very scary...but believe me, it is supposed to feel this way!! (personally I am a salon owner, and have been tanning for 10 years.... and I think people who use tingle lotions are INSANE!!) I guess that I have a low threshold for pain..... It definitely will give you AWESOME color, I guess you just have to get used to it.. |

Rep Power: 0 | Lol, thank you for that reply. I was so confused. When I came home, my kids were like 'mom, why are you so red? Are you burned?' It is only a few hours later and the redness is gone. I was so suprised and even more confused as to how I could have been as red as I've ever been and then gone a little later. The resulting color does seem to be nice so far. When she gave me a sample, she just put some in a plastic container.. I never got to look at the bottle. I'm not sure I'd like to feel that way again either.... and I do have a high threshold for pain. |
