Rep Power: 21 | My electric bill for my first peak season is out of hand! on a 3 phase system, with only 4 beds, I'm paying $1200 a month, (then $300 for gas) for a total of $1500! the rate will increase after 4 months also, if my KWH usage is the same, then I will be on a demand meter plan which will charge me more for my peak hours. I am getting buck boosters installed this week...any suggestions from anyone out there? UGH! _________________ [ This Message was edited by: JOLEE on 2004-02-26 12:26 ] |

Rep Power: 21 | I would make sure that your electrition balenced the load properly on the panel. if you have an eveanly distributed load you will save some money. aside from that do you have econimizers on your ac?. $1200 doesnt seeem so high. I spend alot more.. It's all relative. I look foward to my bill. The higher it is the better we did . Dan |

Rep Power: 21 | Ours runs about $1800 per month in the busy season. That is mainly because the guy who set up our a/c didn't really know his head from a hole in the ground and we had to add more a/c but the two units don't run together too effeciently. We are going to completely remodel as soon as my mom gets better. We have 6 beds. |

Rep Power: 21 | I have had everything checked out, and they all say its right and I've done everything on my end to keep it down. its my first month in business also. I was only doing about 30 people average per day, now I'm up to over 50. its only going to get worse! I'm not using my a/c at all right now, colder than **** here! do buckboosters help like I've been told they do? |

Rep Power: 22 | Not that I am aware of...I have 1 ergo 450 and we dont have a buck on it. I have over 2300 sq ft of space and 2 ac units up stairs...just doesnt seem right to me for you to have such a high bill. We are seeing 50 to 100 clients a day now, as time goes on we will see up to 250 a day. I would get an second opinion. |

Rep Power: 0 | I have 8 beds, seeing 40 people a day in Jan and my gas and electric bill was a little less then $500. I am in NY and it is not as cheap as other places in the country. Something must be wrong. Are there 2 stores on 1 meter and you are getting the bill??? |

Rep Power: 0 | That seems really high. When I am running all of my beds close to capacity during busy season, my highest bill has been less that $650. Ours is $7.50/kwh.(I think..haven't checked it in awhile). That must have been a kick in the face when you opened the bill. |

Rep Power: 23 | That is possible... check the meter..double check it is only for your salon? Are you in a plaza? how many other stores? Count the meters and be sure the numbers match the number of units.something is way off. Good luck. |
