Solar Shower Spray Booth? - tanTALK

Hello, Does anyone have any experience with the Solar Shower Spray booth? How does it compare to Mystic? Magic? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, we saw the presentation that Tan Systems had for their Sun Machine Spray Booth. Its the absolute best we've seen. Hopefully in the spring we'll have it in our place. You should atleast call Tan Systems before you make a choice.

The Solar Shower is suppose to be the competitor for Magic Tan. The Solar Shower is run from electric pumps instead of the air.....I have tried the Magic Tan but not the Solar Shower, yet. I really, really like the Magic Tan better than any on the market right now.

Do they have a license from Mist-On? If not, what type of indemnification package do they offer? How does it compare to Magic? Do they have the bucks to fight the Mist-On patents? Until someone succeeds at shutting down the Mist-On patent attack, I'm really nervous about going with any unlicensed booth.

We have the Solar Shower and it is amazing, the color is so natural, you can choose from many different shades, and we have one that is specifically made for out salon. I have not had one complaint from a customer in the 9 months that we have been open. We have pageant contestants, U of A cheerleaders and majorettes that spray tan before ballgames. I also before and after pictures if anyone is interested in seeing them. The key is the touchup spray, it is amazing. I love the stuff and keep a bottle of it at home and use it to keep my tan perfect. You will love this machine. I have had the Mystic, Magic, and airbrush done and nothing compares to this machine.

We also have a solar shower. The color is very nice but it is a rather labor intensive. The solution is water based so it does take some time to learn how to apply with perfection. This turns some clients off. As it is easy to miss a spot the first time. I put all my clients thru twice to make sure they have enough solution . Our machine is less than a year old and there are many things that the solar shower is lacking in the way that it is built. They are inexpensive fixes but they were not done. For instance the waste button does not stay in. You have to hold it. Also, the plastic hoses that pull the solution have a tendency to slip and spray solution everywhere. Customer service has been poor through this company. All in All my customers like the booth, but I will not go with this company again.
