What are you all doing about your AC this time of year?

We are keeping our AC on Auto @ 70. Then, the girls are turning it off at night, and then back on in the morning.

Sometimes it can be downright freezing in here though, espeically since we are so slow!

I found one of the girls not turning the AC on in the morning, and when I tanned at noon the room was at 80 - which was pretty hot after I got out of the toasty bed. So, I made sure that they all know to turn it on regardless and just be aware and wear long sleeved shirts under their uniforms.

But, what do you all do in the winter? I don't dare turn the heat on, but should I turn the AC down, or off altogether?

Thanks!
love, alarris

I've had the same problem here. My girls get real cold and decide to turn the air off and then the sun comes out beaming through the windows and boom it's 80 in here. I finally told them not to touch the thermostat at all. Where long pants and a turtleneck if you need to. All I know to do. Those beds can make it really hot in here. So the air stays.

I don't turn on heat either. Most days right now I don't turn on air until around 11 - 12. Our mornings are really slow. If I get a couple of the bigger beds going, I will turn it down earlier. I am sitting here now freezing but it is almost time for school to get out...maybe I should go clean something.

We run ac 365 days per year. All thermostats are set at 65 degrees and under lock and key.
