Rep Power: 21 | I am thinking about putting together a binder and call it "Guide to Safe Tanning". With all the controversy out there and the articles that are continuously putting indoor tanning down, I think this would be a great asset to have in the waiting room for anyone that has doubts about tanning in or outside. We must try and educate our clients. Since I am new to the business, I would appreciate if anyone has such a guide, they could email to me, or any suggestions. I am still educating myself. Would love to hear everyone's comments and ideas. Thanks Pam |

Rep Power: 0 | Could be a good idea. I wouldn't say "safe" tanning, though. That could get you in trouble--better to say 'smart' tanning guide or something like that. I reprint articles I think are valuable for my clients and leave them in our front area but I haven't compiled them into a book. Good idea! Pam |

Rep Power: 22 | Every month I do a newsletter and I put them on the bed in each room for the first 3 days of the month, so everyone gets one. In this newsletter each month there are very informative info about safe tanning, skincare, and websites to check out for tanning info. |

Rep Power: 21 | I agree with Pam, would steer clear of the word "safe" in any print you do. Instead of re-creating the wheel, you can get all that material from an indoor tanning association or view www.tanningtruth.com for more info on it. |

Rep Power: 21 | Thanks Pam,you are absolutely right about using "smart" instead of "safe". Great idea, Margaret. And thank you sunlounge, I will check out the web site. Pam _________________ [ This Message was edited by: tropicalescape on 2003-10-28 20:34 ] |
