Rep Power: 0 | Does anyone have information on these beds? I am getting ready to open a new salon and am thinking about purchasing 12 of them. And also has anyone ever used the Euro walls? I don't want my salon to look cheap, so if anyone has info on these I would appreciate it also. Thanks |

Rep Power: 21 | I considered them also at first, but I also chose not to buy them. The look is cool, the price is great, and they include everything you need in their packages, so of course it is appealing. My advice is to RESEARCH !! Dont rush into anything. For example, You are probably looking at paying about $60,000 for a 12 beds/booths package from Tropical Rayz. If you were to spend that with another company, you would probably get 7-8 beds/booths. Is more always better??? I dont think so, but it depends on your area. Are there any other salons in your town? If so, what kind of beds do they have. I would catagorize Tropical Rays to be comparable to Sunvision, Sunstar, Sundome series by ETS. They are not the greatest, but sometimes you dont need the best. I reccomend you look around alot. Distributers are gonna want you to by their equipment, so they are constantly pushing their brand on you. Pick what you feel comfortable with, but remember....You get what you pay for!!!! Tanning beds are like cars, some are cheap, some are OK, some are good, some are great etc....You could buy a BMW for $50,000/ compared to a Supernova tanning bed for $35,000 (these are AWESOME machines, but it is vanity to a certain point). OR a Honda Accord for $20,000/ compared to a Tan America, Heartland Tan, or sonner-braune bed for $4,000-$5,00 (these both are good solid machines that last a long time) Then you have your low-end stuff like a KIA for $12,000, compared to a Tropical Rays, Sunvision Bed for $2,000-$3,000 (these machines are good enough to put up with everyday wear and tear, BUT....2-3 years down the road you will see the decline in the performance) Personally I like Heartland Tan, and Tan America. Just do your homework, and be original.. |

Rep Power: 22 | I have seen these beds also, I believe if you will do a search you can find the website for them. They are cool looking, but when purchasing beds, looks are not always what you should look for. You want to know the maintence and care for the beds, the components, the life of the bed, and will the company stand behind the bed. You should contact a salon that has them. The rep should be able to give you salon listings that have these beds and where if close by you can see them in action. |

Rep Power: 0 | We recently opened a salon and purchased the 3 bed package with the south beach standup.Being all steel I beleive these beds to be a step above the ETS beds, and the stand up performs well.Clients seem to be satisfied with results.Having said that take the advice of others that tell you to research.Had we learned more about beds and the companies that make them we probably would not have gone with these. The main reason being customer service. We were told it would take about two weeks to receive our beds, that turned into almost two months and numerous excuses.Hopefully these beds will serve as good base level beds for us,but any upgrade beds we will buy from another company. |

Rep Power: 25 | Are you talking about Tropical Rayz or Tropical Series beds? Tropical Rayz I believe is a unit made by American Quality MfG. in Florida. Tropical Series are units from PC Marketing. If your talking about Tropical Rayz, I would research the bed closer. |

Rep Power: 0 | I purchased six Tropical Rayz beds six months ago, including the south beach standup. For the most part I have been satisfied with them for low pressure tanning beds. The standup is great, the 30 lamp beds are a bit narrow because of the curved sides. The customer service from American Quality has been less than great and the promised delivery date was about three weeks late. When it time to purchase again, it will be from another manufacturer. |
