Why does Cal Tan keep discontinuing all of their good lotions. All of our popular caltan lotions are now discontinued. Why?

Pure Chocolate was discontinued. I sold a little, but it was not popular due to the chocolate odor that remained after tanning. Which specific lotions are you referring to?

well a few months ago they discontinued Ferocious & tropical sizzle & a few others, now they are discontinuing volcanic mud, butter & cuo2..

I cannot believe that they are going to discontinue butter...Where did you hear this from?

I received an ad from a lotion distributor, but the more i look at it, it seems that they are re-packaging butter, not discontinuing it, they are just getting rid of the 2002 bottles. Sorry for the mistake...but they are still discontinuing volcanic mud.

You are right, Cal Tan discontinues many of their lotions each year. My understanding of the situation is that if there are "left overs" from a batch, that is the one they will discontinue. However, I thought CUo2 did really well this season... I can see getting rid of Pure Chocolate (didn't really like that one). The other thing is that they are not making any more Beach Bum Run until October... everyone is out and you can't get anymore till' then... it is just outrageous! Crazy!

If may be because there lotions are so expensive, I only carry a few lotions from their line.

Pure Chocolate and Butter have not been discontinued! If you are having trouble finding this product, call CalTan at 1-800-sun-care and ask for a distributor list. PC marketing has Beach Bum Rum I just ordered 10 cases of it today. Call Donna or Marie at 1-800-fast-tan. Hope this helps!
