Rep Power: 0 | DHA is a food grade product and is approved for ingestion by the FDA. In fact the largest user of DHA in the world is the health supplement industry. Because DHA is a Pyruvite or fat burner, it is found in many weight loss products. DHA has also been approved for application in creams and lotions and has no known detrimental effects on the body when applied topically. It has been a common ingredient in most sunless tanning lotions for many years. DHA has not been specifically evaluated for use in spray-on tanning systems. This lack of evaluation should not be considered a negative statement of great concern. As a comparison, the FDA has never evaluated the ink used in permanent tattooing for that use either |

Rep Power: 0 | I wanted to introduce myself to you my name is Samantha Jotie, and I am the Western Canadian (British Columbia, Alberta, and Seattle area) Representative for Jamaica Me Tan www.jamaicametan.com. We are a private sunless tanning Company, (if you are not familiar with our name). I would like you to visit our site to see all the wonderful Sunless tanning solutions with various DHA % that is one of the longest lasting solutions on the market; our product has lasted (depending on skin type) up to a month and being manufactured by our own Laboratory we are unlike many others that mainly come from the same manufacturer. We are now also introducing the HVLP System, unlike any other offered anywhere. If you are aware of the HVLP they can be quite loud and large; ours however is not and you can see it on our site, it is small (weighs 7.5 lbs) and the sound is no louder than a regular household vacuum cleaner. The HVLP system we carry will produce a beautiful even tan in 60 seconds and blows warm air to dry your clients with (which is a definite bonus). The HVLP system for sunless tanning is quite new, but is popping up in salons all over the USA, just making its way into Canada now (if you are not familiar with it, it is definitely a completely different service than airbrush tanning as it is faster and the application is much more even and soon will be the only way to get sunless tanning as I truly feel airbrushing will soon be obsolete. I am sure that as a business owner in this ever changing field, you would want all your clients to be happy with a long lasting tan that would not only be convenient with the application time, but would also increase your Bottom Line; by providing the best product available and obviously the opportunity to service more clients on a daily basis. If you are interested in even looking into a new sunless tanning product I would have to say that Jamaica Me Tan offers the best in set up packages for those starting out, and a customer service rapport beyond what is usually acceptable. JMT now has some wonderful new body products and top of the line disposables as well, (all can be found on our site). Please note, at the moment our system is exclusive to Jamaica me tan and is very fair price wise. I know this can be overwhelming as there are so many distributors and different products out there and deciding on the one that works can be frustrating, so I am only wanting to show you that our products have been proven to be one of the finest out there. You can find me under Local Reps on the website. In conclusion, I thank you for your patience in reading this email, and I look forward to hearing back from you soon for a personal meeting, as I truly feel you will be amazed at the results, and without a doubt the opportunity for substantial extra business. Sincerely, Samantha Jotie (604) 945-4057 778-837-7041 www.jamaicametan.com |

Rep Power: 0 | Hi Pros... I am new at this and am having a hard time adjusting the spraying nozzle. I keep getting heavy spots with the fine spray. It looks like freckles on DHA! The first time I used a different product and it sprayed very evenly. With the new product, it seems to be coming out unevenly. Is this the product or my technique? Thanks in advance for your help! Come on...help the neewbie!!! |

Rep Power: 0 | Kind of a silly thread, but that's the mood I'm in. I say; it's not a stain until it becomes objectionable, then it's a stain. Prior to that it's a tan. I don't want to discredit anyone here, but quite frankly the airbrush /gun thing is a crock when used for full body tanning. It is wonderful for highlights. For me it's not about the results, it's about the value of service in the tanning industry. The spas can market it has a high value part of their offering, but for tanning salons, it's a pit of complaints, high cost labour, and a very small market segment that is ludicrous to be wasting advertising dollars on. |

Rep Power: 0 | Dear winebuff, First I would make sure your equipment nozzle is completley clear, then you may need to adjust the air pressure, also try adjusting the diameter size of your nozzle (usually adjustable at the nozzle its self). You may have to play around a bit to get it right, but I have found that when I bought my machine the settings suggested were for their solution , when I switched I had to adjust my settings but was much happier with my new solution once I figured it out. Hope this helps. |

Rep Power: 0 | Shep, NO!!!!! Your clients skin needs to be free of any oils, makeup, deoderant, anything it can all be potential barriers to the solution and produce an uneven result. However, after their first bath they need to moisturize regularly to keep the tan looking good for as long as possible, it also slows the exfoliation process. |
