I have two clients that have this condition. We have had pretty good results with them. It will camoflouge their spots somewhat but it will not be totally even. Do a search in the Skin Care forum here. It will tell you more.

normally the treatment involves uvb medical lamps. You should not try to use these lamps in a tanning unit.

mitzi.........my mom has past the point of just a few spots needing camoflouged.... she is mostly pure white skin with no pigment she just has a few spots that are a light brown but they are very small what she was wanting to know is... is the new spray on tan that is out will that give her a natural color or will it look funny she is afraid to try it for fear she will turn orange or something like that and then not be able to leave the house for a week or more i know it sounds silly but i know she would really like to have some color back i doubt seriously that she would try any sort of medical treatment just a quick fix so she doesnt have to wear long sleeves all summer long?

One of my clients arms are almost completely effected. It does look pretty normal on her. Maybe you can find an Airbrush salon that could do a test spot on her. That is what we do with Vitiligo clients. The first time Vicky came in we did a test on her hand and forearm. That night she called back and said she wanted to do the full body. has since been airbrushed 5 times.

is the airbrushing the same thing as the spray booth that you completely step into ??

Airbrushing is a "hand-held" type of unit. It is applied by a person holding the "wand".

Yes it is the same effect. Both of them are supposed to provide an even and natural looking tan1
