I am opening a salon at the end of this year, and was pretty set on SunDash/Ergoline beds, but am starting to second guess myself after reading some of the responses here? I need to be competitive in my area. There are 3 other salons in town, but they have crappy beds with broken bulbs and cracked acrylics. They don't keep their salons or equipment looking nice.
How do you all feel on Sundash/Ergoline beds? Are they top of the line beds? What do you carry in your salon? I want to have base, medium, and high end beds? I would love any opinions/comments!!!!

I don't know anything about the beds you are looking at. We have TanAmerica beds and love them. No trouble with them ever.

Heres the companies I reccomend:
UWE 1800fasttan www.montegobaywolff.com (has it all)
Future Industries 18003463136 (has it all)
Sonnen Braune(for mid and big vhr beds)
Sontegra (for mid level vhr beds)
Tan Systems(for base beds)
Tan America(for high pressure)
Suncapsule (for standups)

Heres what I say STAY AWAY FROM:
ETS
Heartland
Sun Ergoline
Pure Tan
Tropical Rays/Perfect Tan
Ultra Sun
Sun Vitale
UV Tech

Send me a private message if you would like to know the reasoning behind my opinions.

I love my UWE's and Dr. Mullar beds. I have tanned in Ultra Sun and like them as well, but never owned one. I hear great things about Tan America and Sonnen Braun.

If I were you I would def. go with a brand that others in your area do not have. Also look for customer support after the sale.

UltraSun beds tan well but are plastic and are difficult to work on.

I have 3 sundash Comp. 232 beds in my salon I love the beds as far as comfort and looks but I did not care to much for the sun ergoline bulbs that came in the beds my other beds bulbs have been replased with Radiance from Four Seasons and I LOVE them and so do my customers.

I have 5 sundash 20 min beds, 1 10 min bed, and the 450 classic ergoline. I love my beds. I have been in business for 2 years. My clients like the beds because they are wider and I love them because they are 120 watt lamp beds with ballast to match. The 450 is a 160 watt lamp bed, the ballast are only 140, but the beds really do out perform any bed I have ever laid in. The ease of maintence and lamp changing in these beds is wonderful. You will, if purchased, be happy with this line of beds. I searched for 3 years before ever opening my salon. SO I looked at all the beds in the market, and the resell of these beds is great also. I only relamp my beds with the manufactured lamps. I dont want to short sell my clients. I say whatever beds you buy, relamp with what comes in them, then you will truly get the life out of the bed.
