The facts we now know!

Larry and Sheila were working togather using deception, withhold critical facts need to answer questions and spinning my post in an effort to destroy me and my company!

The real story!

Tanshop somehow get inventory that is from 1998 and 1995. (white bottles with old lizard logo labeling) Anyone that care to know realizes that this is not current product or packaging. I have had the Sun logo since 1998. Lizard logo SUR has been on the web at PNSBS for years. It was so old it was not an issue with me. That is were the product
could have come from.

This product was made and sold before the term diversion was created or diversion was even an issue.

One of Larry's customers buys it!

That customers "tells" Larry that I gave her the name of the website to buy it at!

She trampes Larry out, but instead of telling her it is old packaging and showing her my current catalog or with my website to prove this is extremely old product.

What a great chance to discredit the TanShop with written proof of how they stock old products.

Note: Larry was a customer as late as May of this year. His salon is on my mailing list I have sent him at least one Catalog.

The next step is:

Larry has an employee E-mail and call me several times wanting to buy Soakin' Up The Rays (R), directly from me or where she can get it on the net. I do not sell it to her or give her a website to buy the product from.

Funny, If I had before why not now? Maybe I am telling the truth! Larry would never want to hear that, he is on a witch hunt! He is out to destroy me!

I do not respond to the person's e-mail and tell her I will return her call later which I do not do!! Finally the customer (Larry's employees) calls again. This time, I refer her to
Pam @Fingerpaints and Fanny Tanners that stocks the product she was looking for. I then call Pam and give her the information that was E-mailed to me! The "customer" had e-mailed me her Name, address and phone number, How can she be peeed I gave that out!

Larry starts E-mailing at least one of my customers. Saying that he has dirt on me. He is working behind the scenes to destroy me.

Why: Steve Miller owns 3 salons in Youngstown and is one of my best private label customers. I think Larry was trying to sell that business for his soon to be launched
Private Label product!

Steve Miller calls me and ask me what is going on! I explain that I referred the "customer" to another salon that did stock my products and I was unaware of any Soakin' Up The Rays (R) on the net for sale.

I also ponder that this could be revenge for me not buying a banner ad on his site.

Larry has the product in hand. Instead of calling me to ask how this product got on the web. Larry and Sheila enter into a quest to destroy me and my reputation in the industry for DIVERSION TO TANSHOP! Sheila is up for tramping about anything! She just like to attack, accuse and slam without rhyme or reason!

Larry, has the product that the customer bought from TanShop infront of me. Yet he does not tell me the name. When I suggest that anything in white bottles is very old. He calls me a lier. He says I must be filling old bottles and selling them? Is he a crack smoker!

I rack my brain trying to figure out where this is coming from! I do not have an answer? I am thinking that the first year of my new sun logo that the products were in white bottles with purple caps so that must be it? Who would have that? Maybe André at American Royal? He did just liquidate product for $1.00 a bottle with my permission. That had to be it!! Could someone just be trying to discredit me?

I have rubbed the major companies faces in the fact my products were not on the net!

Sheila is calling me a hypocrite!! I think she could be right! I start to rethink how I will deal with Soakin’ Up The Rays (R) in the future.

Larry and Sheila are pounding away calling me a lier, accusing me of high crimes against salon owners. Telling me they are planning on destroying me. Destroy Soakin’ Up The Rays (R) that I have invested 10 years of my life doing! I have been honest to a fault!

They still hold on the facts I need to know what they have! I am going crazy, I am yelling at the kids, My wife, and several customers that catch me wrong! I go out and post a
warning to my customers about my products on the net! I tell customers on the phone, I write about it in my September newsletter, I am going insane! I can’t sleep! What is going
on! What do they have?

All the time Larry and Sheila know what product they have! They do not tell me! They let me suffer for their joy and excitement!

Larry promises that “I will be working at Sears next year” in an e-mail to one of my friends!

They let others pound away for lying, They accuse André of owning these website, they lie, take words out of context and promise invoices that still have not been posted!

This continues for 3 days! Larry will not tell me the name of the product, give me a lot number or posting the invoice! Larry and Sheila keeps piling on the abuse, working constantly to destroy my name and reputation! They say they have the goods! I must come clean or they will destoy me!

Then they make a mistake!

They give me the name of the product!

Ray-man’s Plateau Buster and Ultimate Strength ( He still leaves out the rest of the name printed on the bottle “Tanning Intensifier”) He acts like that is Ultimate Results ( I know
it can’t be because Ultimate results was only made in Black bottles) He was lying again to try to deceive me and damage me.

Once I know that, it’s over!

Rays-man’s Plateau Buster was out only for tanning season 1996 ( introduced fall of 1995 and redesigned in fall of 1996). Yes, I could have had inventory a little longer but?

Ultimate Strength Tanning Intensifier was sold for season 1997 and 1998. Then I redesigned the logo to the current Sun logo!

Now I am just peeed!

Larry and Sheila put me through all of this for product I did not make or sell in the current century! They knew the facts and withheld them, that would have stoped this in an hour.

Why?

Larry, is launching his own private label product line and wants to punish me for not buying a banner ad on his site!

Sheila is just too dumb to ask the facts and think about what she is doing! She just want the attention and for someone to read her post!

I will never forget what has happen to me. This has changed my perspective on the web and how I run my company.

For years, I have been convinced that if I keep Soakin’ Up The Rays (R) salon owner friendly that salon owners would flock to stock it:

* Did not telemarket - I though I would respect salon owners time and the fact they were smart enough to call me. (I will begin to telemarket my products very soon!)

* Did not sell directly to tanners at all. ( I adding a full retail E-commerce section to my website as soon as possible, if tanners want to pay full retail then they can buy it from
me!)

* I have not sold to distributors to ensure I knew were every bottle was going. ( American Royal has asked to distribute my product, I will allow them to stock them starting next
season, it will be nice to make the extra revenue.)

* I have worried about Diversion of my product constantly. ( I will not claim that my products are Diversion Free, with distribution and telemarketing my product will eventually reach the net like every other product)

I am sorry, but this event as shook who and what I believe about this industry. For years I have been hoping that doing these drastic steps would make salon owners realize that one product line was thinking of them first but that has not happened.

I realize that I need to be out to make as much money as possible.

If salon owners want a product line that is not diverted then they need to private label!

What every I do I am going to be attack. Maybe not by Larry and Sheila but someone else just as evil!

I have done the right thing, I have done beyond the call for salon owners yet Larry and Sheila still tried to destroy me over product I sold in 1998 or later! That makes me sick! It should make you sick as well!

Greg, I empathathize with you. Don't let this get you down. Stay positive and remember where the source of the irritation comes from. Sheila, that gal with an adgenda from he!!, and others who would follow her. The blind leading the blind for some vicarious sense of misplaced tanning "saloon" belonging. Sheila can't keep her business in the black so she spends her time drinkin wine spodeode all night lurking on the net to dig up dirt, that is mostly just that dirt! She rambles and obfuscates the facts for her own wierd need to belong to something and it is usually negative. She should take care of her own business and then when she is a success at that, people might give her the time of day. Remember what the oyster does with irritants? They make pearls out of them.
