Rep Power: 23 | Keep in mind htat I am in a very small town. There is one salon that is dirty and extremly old. At one time there was another that everyone loved. These owners admited that they had never been licensed by Dept of Health but that they did follow the rules. So today I have a girl come in, I told her that she needed a parent to sign and she said, "Really? When did they start that? I've been tanning since I was 14 and they never had to sign for me before." The sad thing is that I believe her. I have a lot of educating to do here... shallee |

Rep Power: 23 | Neon, At least you know what you have to do. I'd give you a medal if I could, for not letting her in without a parents signature. Just remember that the time and effort that you put into educating them, will pay off for you in the long run. And that you will always have help when you need it from Tantalk. I wish that I would have known about this site when I first opened up 3 years ago. I could have used alot of it then, but I had to learn everything the hard way, on my own and bt trial and error. |

Rep Power: 23 | Tamar -- I like that, quote some state code#!! I have to remember that. I get so tired of hearing how "the other place" does it. Just because they are doing it wrong, doesn't make it okay for me to do it wrong too. |
