I recently (10/10/01) bought a salon that has 7 beds and uses 3 different brands of bulbs:
Hawaiian Haze 9.5
Panther 9.5
Genesis
What kind of bulbs have you had the best luck with in respect to the tan you get, price and the lifespan of the lamp.

Please let me know if there is a bulb that will give a better or comparable performance to any of the bulbs alreday in the beds.

First of all you need to find out what kind of bulbs are compatible with the kind of equipment that you have. Then, when you have a list we can do a comparison of the bulbs that you can actually use.

I know that I need 71 bi pins for a Wolff bed. I should have specified that I have worked in the salon for 5 years. We have got the best response from our clientel on the Panthers. I was just wondering if anyone else was using them or had found something better... for exmaple the black sun lamps...

I haven't ever used the lamps you are talking about. But I do use blacksun and they are awsome. I use them in an upgrade bed. my basic beds had belleriums(sp)when I purchased the salon 4 yrs. ago and when I changed them I went with voltarc6.5. this past year i also tried some radiance7.0 I have had great response and they do get long hours for me.

Is the panther lamp a 20 minute lamp? I just put the wolff Dominion in my 20 minute units. Its a really instant coloring lamp and thats what most of my clientel demands.
Ive heard very little first hand info on the panther, also heard good things on the hereaus lamps....

The Panther bulb is a 10 minute lamp. They are made by Interlectric.
I had customers in the salon today asking when I was going to change the beds that don't have the Panthers in them back to Panthers.
But I just in case anyone wanted info on these bulbs the phone number is
