New Forum Idea - tanTALK

Yo Solid! Is it me or is it everyone who is brand new to the board and getting ready to start their salon (or just pounding out ideas for one) register and then immediately post in the Open Forum asking for ideas on business plans, etc.... I may have been guilty of that too... not sure. But, I am to the point where I think I am going to copy and paste the stock answer I give everyone. Can we please have a new forum for salon beginners? I'd like to be a moderator there. I know Linda is active at another board in their beginner's forum. It would also be nice if, in that forum, it wasn't just for questions... but also sage advice like Greg from Soakinuptherays and Don Smith provide (and Linda does elsewhere) posted there by anyone to our new entreprenuers and members.Does anyone else seem to think that a Beginner's Forum would be appropriate? Laurie

i agree with bronze star about the beginner's forum. i'm not even a beginner yet, still in the skeptical stages. i find this site informative. and the varying degrees of personality and quirkiness are indeed not annoying, but a reality check for me. it takes all kinds. negative people, postive people with authority and resourceful information and plain flat nuts. thats what business is all about, struggling with all the differences and still being sucessful (or not being audited by the IRS)
