I just received some Hareaus Face Lamps and are dated 2006' I notice at the ends of the middle of the tube it is blackish in color. Is this normal for new bulbs, or does this indicate they have been used. I was wonder too why i didnt receive newer bulbs as well?

They are all test first. The black is residual carbon that get collected near the points. Not a big deal, I have yet to ever get a face tanner from any brand that has NOT been tested.

As for the year, again, no matter.

Bulbs aren't bread, and the blackening on the ends means they were tested before they sold to you.
