Re: Best Mix for 10 Bed Salon
If you have a salon that is operational now...is the beds currently not working to your standards? You choose those for a reason..right?
Remember the good motto..if your current salon is making $$...If its NOT broke DON"T fix it!...If biz is not doing so well...investigate why biz is not doing well..is it the beds or the times we are living in??? If beds are the problem then proceed with the quest... We have been in biz for 15 years and we love the following and has worked for years.. Dr Muller's systems Ergoline systems Sun Capsules.. The have been a blessing for us and $$ to the bank... |

Re: Best Mix for 10 Bed Salon
That line up is good too. Real good. You could even do an NJoy ALONG with the bigger HP for 2 levels of HP. Those Njoys are so frikkin inexpensive these days it's almost a "no brainer".
Only go with "more than 32lamp base beds" if you plan on making da money on them not just there to pick up the slack. 20/month won't cut it. I'm talking $40+/month minimum. Also, 15min beds will require reflector lamps that cost many dollars more and don't last nearly as long as the 20min full coat lamps. Goldariums are good approaching 1000hrs but VLRs are good for about 600hrs before 15min isn't cutting it.

Re: Best Mix for 10 Bed Salon
32 lamp 20 minute bed:
32 x $7.50 = $240 $240 / 800 / 3 = $.10 per session 32 lamp 15 minute bed: 32 x $9.00 = $288 $288 / 500 / 4 = $.14 per session .04 per session more but a much better tan and only 15 minutes so you save on electrical costs. You would only need to buy 3 beds instead of 4 so you would save $5,000+. It would take you 125,000 session at $.04 to make up the $5,000 you would save. Why would you not go with 15min base beds? |

Re: Best Mix for 10 Bed Salon
Because you want the beds to kind KICK THEM into upgrading. 15min 100watt reflector lamps have the ability to "out tan" their 160watt bigger brother or at least come close enough to not warrent an upgrade. Level 1 needs to be almost inconvenient by their 5th or so visit. Then they upgrade to the big boy and with a base tan you run that thing at 90% and make em feel it which hooks them.
Again unless you are going to get $50/month minimum and attract the higher end clientelle then it's not worth it.

Re: Best Mix for 10 Bed Salon
We currently have all ETS beds except for one Sollux. We are pleased with them, but I was just curious to see what everyone else would do. We will probably still get a couple of ETS beds because we like them and the price isn't too bad, but we don't want to have the salonwith all ETS beds. We would like to have a mix of several.

Re: Best Mix for 10 Bed Salon
I'd get sunsource over ETS. They are similar in price and style but 10000% higher quality.
They never break.

Re: Best Mix for 10 Bed Salon
that's good if you have a real high volume area and people that do EFTs.
