Re: Magic 636 vs Tan America L33

Radium makes Iso Italia, Cosmedico, AUVL, Superior UV & Supra. USHIO/BLV are currently used in Tan America Solarix & that is about it. BLV is not in the US market too much.

Word is that AUVL may be switching to all Philips. SLI Lighting is also making some steps into the us market with the Purebronze line of HP lamps.

And the Magic does need much more A/C, we are talking 36,000 watts compared to 18,000. 100 amps compared to 53. The Magic needs double the A/C to stay at the same ambiant temp.

Magic should have about 3.46 tons
Matrix L33 ER should have about 1.83 tons

John I believe BLV also make the Ultrasun lamps and I believe Radium only makes some of the Cosmedico.

I also heard AUVL is switching to Philips.

Ultrasun uses almost everyone, some BLV, some Heraeus, some Philips.

800 hrs on a magic is with hereus lamps.12-1400 hrs with radium. The fit and finish on the latest Magic is much, much nicer. You would have to see it in the flesh.Pictures in tanning trends are way ,way off. They did not use a pro photographer and the flash has washed all of the color out of it.I will be installing mine in about 10 days.5 minutes from pearson airport in Toronto.Wow I hope I didn't spam!!!Last time I came over here and made a few comments about the most discussed bed on the internet, the whole thread went missing.

It's spam if you sell them or profit from the sale of the item.

As per John the ISO quartz (wire leads) are made by Radium, these are the lamps I was referring to as quality, not the "retrofit" Ushio's .
