Re: an IDEAL tanning lamp.....

How many minutes do you run your 3200? I will assume 20 minutes. You should bump up to something in the 6.5% range. Your Radiance 5000 are ok but not very aggressive in a 20 minute bed.

Re: an IDEAL tanning lamp.....

actually they are 15 minute beds. I had Body Scan XR Plus lamps last year. I was told to move up to Radiance 7000 but I don't want to stick with the Radiance if they aren't worth it.

Re: an IDEAL tanning lamp.....

If you are running those beds at 15min then you should use a reflector lamp. The 7000 are just a standard lamp with higher UVB. The Body Scan XR plus are a much better lamp. They are no longer available so go with a Sig Series HOR Plus or something like that.

Okay - only been in the business 15 months - don't know the difference. Is that good or bad? Can't anyone tell me what they use and love?

Re: an IDEAL tanning lamp.....

for my 20 min base bed, I use Light Sources Desert Sun. I use Heraus MAgic Sun in the rest of my beds and Booths. Lots of UVB. BANGIN tan! Just Call John @ Ultra Violet Resources. He is the Lamp GURU
