Because you are going to sell it that way. It really doesn't matter as far as results go, what matters is how much cash you stuff into the cash register every day. It is all about the bottom line and if that is all you have then that is what you sell.

Stop getting so hung up on wattages, lamp types, color and such. If you are starapped for power and A/C and space then this is the machine for you. You can still bang people for 25 bucks a session and suck down as much power and cooling as a small VHR bed in the same time frame.

Sell it to your customers, stop caring about how you see it. This seems to be a problem with many salon owners. The customers have no clue and will do what you tell them to do. Be a sales person. Sales is all about a good story.

Re: Sportareddo N'Joy

From what I have heard, the N'joy is still in production. The new color scheme won't be available until the Yellow ones are all sold. That is why you see it on the Italian website and not the US website.

Re: Sportareddo N'Joy

After the stock of it is sold it. It will no longer be aviable for the North American market but will still be in production in Italy with special orders with a watiing period for this market perhaps that was a better way to put it.

Re: Sportareddo N'Joy

My biggest concern would be on future parts 4 years from now. It is never good when a unit you have has been discontinued. Parts can become a real ***** to get. Many of us have dealt with this over the years and it really can suck.

I would buy a unit that is still being sold in the USA in the future.

Re: Sportareddo N'Joy

It takes the same parts as the NJOY MIX minus the mattress.

Re: Sportareddo N'Joy

Parts are not a problem. Sportarredo even carries plastic from long ago discontinued models. Matt is right parts are the same re. the mix.
I personally don't think flipping over to the foot side on a mix is a great option. Customers are to lazy and will get turned off to the idea. The mix is a better option if turn over is critical. You will get uneven tanning especially if you use the stock Kalfasun tubes. If you use a 9k90 in the bench you will get more consistent results on both sides.
The matress version is ok if you market it as a 20-22 min session and give them the option at an additional fee to do 30 min. Like Brian said its all about how you sell it.
Yes the bed is small but it meters and performs well despite its modest footprint. The N/Joy is alot of bang for the buck if you market it correctly.

Re: Sportareddo N'Joy

t-n-t, do you have them flip over half way through the session? How do you explain the benefit of this bed to the client? I'm just curious about what is working for you.

Re: Sportareddo N'Joy

The Extasy is different. It has 3 columns so your sides have some chance of getting color although the geometry is a bit non conducive to getting your sides.
On the N/Joy with just a single column up top and (1) side column it lends itself to flipping over otherwise one side will not get color.
