Re: ? about the best stand up
Number of lamps, yes. Wattage, no.

2M, I have a lot of customers especially men that love to use the 2M it has a lot of room inside. Most of the other booths are too small for the bodybuilders and guys 6ft tall.

Re: ? about the best stand up
I have 5 sundash 252's, 4 suncapsule cyclones, and 1 220 watt suncapsule. Suncapsule are definetly stronger than the sundash and I have never had a problem with the suncapsule. The sundash are good too, strong and very reliable just not as strong or reliable as the suncapsule.

2M all the way. My Customers LOVE it!!! The 9 minute tan it produces will rival any 7-8 minute Sun Capsule (but for like 2/3 the price)

Re: ? about the best stand up
Suncapsule makes great stand-ups. Their booths have any where between 18-22 MPH cooling fans. Never get hot/sweaty. Radius, wasn't impressed. The Radius has a higher UVB output, more reddening, but I suppose you could change the type of lamp and use something with a higher UBA output, but if you're clients demand that immediate reddening color, then stick with the straight VHR. The Radius also doesn't cool as well as a Suncapsule.
If you're worried about rel-amping costs, 2M lamps are more pricey ranging between $17-$20 per lamp. I'd also avoid buying booths with RCD lamp ends. Make sure they are Bi-Pin. You'll get better competitor pricing on Bi-pin. |
