We are getting ready to add High pressure beds to our salon and are wondering which of these high pressure beds are the BEST!?
Sportarredo 360, Futuresun or Matrix High pressure Any advice or problems with these beds? Any unexpected problems with support or technical? Also any ideas on how to get a good price? What do you use and what beds do your customers love? Thank you and have a great day! We look forward to your Help!

Re: What's the best High Pressure Bed?
that is a question that will get you 25 different answers.
I suggest you go and find each unit your interested in and tan in them. Then ask the owner of the salon what it was like : ie (customer service, tech support, problems, etc) I am biast, I sell Sportarredo.

Re: What's the best High Pressure Bed?
It really depends on your market, your other equipment, your budget, etc.
For example - Sportarredo is doing a close out on the N'Joy for 12,995 delivered and installed. 30 minute tan time, mattress with a flip, small footprint. Not the right bed for every salon to be sure, but can be the BEST based on some criteria. Ditto the Iso Italia Matrix - quality all the way, but $34,995 at the top end. Magic, Mastersun, Ergo new 1050, Tan America's Solarix -- all ones that could make a "best" list. And then...there is the USED market! I've seen "good" HP for as low as $1000 right now -- on up to $25K. Give us more details on what you are thinking, your competition, your other equipment, how you think you would price it, etc. |

Re: What's the best High Pressure Bed?
Exactly right as usual Sunsally! If your market is new to HP you can get your best values from good used matress beds. They can be had from $3000 to $7,000 and you can still get yourself $25-$30 per session. That is easily one of the best values in the used bed market. If your area is saturated with new top end 360 units you can still do well with older used units (even mattress units) you just have to to be a little more creative with pricing and marketing.

Re: What's the best High Pressure Bed?
High pressure tanning is a whole different animal, so know what you're getting into before you jump. The cost to maintain hp is more and more time consuming than the standard tanning unit. A lamp change alone for hp can be over $3000. Hp is not for everyone.

Re: What's the best High Pressure Bed?
no, that is a successful salon talking. I have 3 salons.
Salon 1: Population - 12000, avg household income- $22,000, Avg age - 50% is 55 and up. 3 HP units, 5 LP units - $295,000 sales 2006 Salon 2: Population - 35000, avg household income - $58,000, avg age - 35 2 HP units, 4 LP untis - $102,000 sales so far in 2007, opened in March 2007 Salon 3: Population - 200,000, avg household income - 35,000, avg age - 45 1 HP unit, 5 LP untis - Just opend is September. So I have 3 very different markets and all 3 are thriving. So I believe that HP can work in ANY market, it all comes down to eductaion.
