Re: disassemble dr kern blue dream 34/3 bed

Remove the pistons. Remove the top end caps. THen you can remove the hinges that hold the top. Once you have the top off you can take the legs off of the bottom if you need to. THis bed is not hard to take apart.

Re: disassemble dr kern blue dream 34/3 bed

Brian, this is a 34/3 spring assisted not shocks and its is a pain in the a ss to take apart. On this unit you need to close the canopy and push down hard. On the back of the bed you will have a couple of allen screws that need to go in on each side. There is a steal bar that is hooked to the springs and when you push down on the canopy it brings the bar up then on the left and right side in the back you will need to put the allen screws in (2 screws for each side) this holds the steal bar in the up position. (its a pain in the butt because its hard to line them up) The canopy has big hooks on it that hooks into this steal bar and you tilt the canopy all the way up and then lift it out off the steal bar.

Before you do all of this, you need to lift up the bench and unhook the canopy cords, bench cords and main power.

If you can't line up the steal bars, then pull the bed away from the wall, take all the screws out from the plates on the back. Loosen the tention on both sides until you can take off the springs from the top steal bar then you can lift off the canopy. A BIG PAIN TO PUT BACK ON WITHOUT TEARING UP YOUR HANDS, NEED LOTS OF STRENGTH TO HOOK UP THE SPRINGS TO THE BAR AND PULL BACK UP TO THE TOP TO LOCK IN THE ALLEN SCREWS.

If you have any other questions on this please don't hesitate to ask PCUPIT.
