I don't see a 9k90 hitting 7 minute TE time after 30-40 hrs. I like these lamps in a 15 minute Ergoline best.

Are they running a 160W ballast or no? What am I missing?

Tanses are extreme hot boxes. They do not offer any provisions for venting which is ridiculous for a big ugly VHR bed. They look dated. They still use external shocks, axial fans, and the benches are about a foot off the ground. A good solid bed for !990 standards.

Yeah, but your running a 5.5% UVB 160W lamp.

What does it read with the OEM lamp? 9k90?

stop judging the bed by the way it looks. Tanses do tan great, i have personally tanned in them and want to replace my VHR's with the new corona series, it looks as though there are some upgrades. More eye appeal=more sh*t to break. People will respect your salon if its clean and get good color. I think they can eventually get past the look of the bed....

I used to think that way too. Flash sells tanning, not just results.

How the christ is it metering that high? That thing must SANDWICH the person in and the rays are blasting so close together that they lose NO energy.

I mean, it must roast the scrout off ya! For real! Like roasted peanuts.

I've seen our Tanses meter in the 90's. The lamps are touching and don't have any space between them. To remove them you have to roll your hands across them to turn the lamps or from the lamp holders turn the lamp with one finger. Serious stuff.

As you have read, i have not once said they look nice.....(the old ones) but the newer ones are alright. They are no Ergoline, KBL, UWE looking beds thats for sure, but they'll out tan most of their beds.

But like i said, I agree with Billable that FLASHY sells, not results.

Flashy is what's gonna get you top dollar.....

However, how many customers walk into the room & see the top of the bed?
Most beds are usually OPEN all the way & all you see is lamps.
