Re: ERGOLINE OPEN SUN 1050
So we have the new era lamps that try to tan like a high pressure lamp and now we have
$40,000-$50,000 high pressure bed that tans like a vhr. Now there's progress.

Re: ERGOLINE OPEN SUN 1050
Yuca, if the info put out about the 1050 putting out 4 meds to the face is correct and no one has came out and said they were wrong, you will have to treat it the same as a vhr. To give you an example, the Magic is a 12 minute bed and I can put just about anyone, execpt for the very fairest, for 9-10 minutes the first time. After the first time they usually go the full 12 minutes. Looks like with 1050 you won't be able to come anywhere near that. Can you see your custumer paying $35 for a 5 minute session. I don't see it from any of mine. Hey, it's ergoline's bed , they can do what ever they want with it. I just don't understand their thinking on this bed.

Re: ERGOLINE OPEN SUN 1050
In this case they probubly made this bed to give you a ultimate tan, not just for the beginners but for the experienced tanners as well, to achieve a better and quicker tan that people want.
Like me for example, maybe this bed would be excellant for me... but i dont know I would have to try this bed to get a better idea |

Re: ERGOLINE OPEN SUN 1050
With the high levels of uvb, you have lost the advantage of high pressure. With a true high pressure bed the tanner can go close to the maximum from the very beginning and once they achieve their base tan. They may only have to tan 2-3 times a month.
When some one comes in and says that they need to be tan in a week, you won't be able to put them in this bed or you are going to put them in for a very short time. Usually if I can get the customer to start in the hp bed they stay in it. It is harder to get someone to move up in levels than it is to start them at a higher level. There are all kinds of hp beds out there from the ultra low uvb to the ultra high uvb so it is whatever fits your plan the best.
