different levels

this may be a dumb question, in fact it is... but i was wondering how to determine the level of a tanning bed. i know ets has them leveled for you, but what about all the other bed. or is it that you yourself as a salon owner makes your own levels depending on your equipment..... thanks in advanced.

yes I'm a newbie

Re: different levels

There are 3 main levels. Base beds, VHR and high pressure.

Re: different levels

most levels are based on the salons set-up not really a indusrtry standard.

15-20 min bed level 1
add facial to that same bed it could be level 2
go to a vhr and it could be level 3
level 4 could be hp
level 5 could be spray

my levels are set up to show the stronger wattage

level 1 100 watt 20 min
level 2 160 10 min
level 3 200 9 min
level 4 220 7 min
