Re: SOL GLASS LAMPS
I have them and NO I wouldn't use them again alone. I put them alternating with a higher B lamp and they perform. Alone they were OK, but once I put them with the others, they together rocked.

Re: SOL GLASS LAMPS
I had some 200 watt AUVL's that have a 3% rating. They work well with those, but I would never do them alone again. Not to mention at under 100 hours they had black ends even with electronic starters.
It does tans like a mutha now.

Re: SOL GLASS LAMPS
I havoure the Sol Glass in my SunCapsule and I'm happy with them. I have a couple of hundred hours on them, and I don't have any black end problems with them. I am using them with electronic startes as well. They are performing quite well, no complaints. I've heard others complain that the B output falls significantly after about 100 hours. I don't know about that.
