UWE Lotus

So I tried one of these recently as I'm looking at purchasing one or maybe two. This puppy was fitted with SunFit 160W reflectors and the normal facials. I must say it was very cool in there (i'm thinking the frosted acrylics did the job) and overall I was pretty comfortable. A fair few hours later I'm quite brown and that's when I know a bed's done its job.

I have only one complaint and that is the closing of the canopy. I've been in a heap of different beds before but this easily takes the cake for difficulty level of closing the canopy. I tell you what, I'm quite a strong guy and I struggled to close it! I ended up needed two hands to pass the friction point!! Once above the friction point and it just springs right back up. Trying to close it completely whilst lying down definitely was NOT easy.

After the session, I had a quick look around the back, and it appears to operate on 2 gas hydralic arms (similar to the ones you get on flyscreen doors).

Are there any people out there that own this bed and have the same properly? Is it possible to adjust/fix this?

I would hate to think how a small framed woman would go about it

Has springs too. Probably not adjusted properly.
