Re: P90 or Matrix L33

The P-90 meters 55mw on a 5.0 meter. A fantastic under performer! The Matrix L-33 is a slightly better performing hotbox, you pick! Go with the new ISO or check into Sporttaredo or Sun Italia!

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

If you mean a new Matrix L33, you are probably referring to what is now called the Iso Italia L33-ER. It is the same -- only better! 18-20% less heat, better energy efficiency, output, etc.

Iso's L28-ER (the "compact") is very cool looking! Won't be available until probably January. A couple grand less than the L33-ER. Can't go wrong with either -- depends on your budget and timeframe!

I wouldn't do the P-90. Too much $$ for too little performance IMO.

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

Jack - I sent you a PM -- see the top of the page where it says "messages" - click on that.

It's hard to know what is "best" for you without knowing more about your situation. UWE is good equipment -- also probably the most expensive in the industry. That isn't necessarily a bad thing - or a good thing. Depends on your situation to see if that is the best choice.

As a general rule, you get the most flexibility, and therefore the most profitability, from a 360 aggressive HP bed. Combo beds are very difficult to use for fair skinned, no-base tanners -- you are limited to those who already have a good tan. You don't want your most expensive piece of equipment in the salon to be limited at all -- it should be a great choice for anyone who walks through your doors.

Equipment mix is very critical and each piece should be looked at as far as how it fits into your overall mix, pricing and strategy for the salon. Without knowing what you have, it's hard to say what would be best.

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

Again let me repeat the P-90 is a overpriced under performing bed, high on quality and price but low on output. Meters do not lie, they are totally objective, not subjective like everyones opinions. In my opinion you can market a combi bed successfully but you need to stack the bench with 9K90's nothing too agressive, otherwise you will restrict yourself to only already tan tanners.

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

Matrix l33 is a great bed. Whichever way you look at it the p90 is either a hybrid or or a mattress version HP. We have the L333 and the time factor is a huge difference

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

I have a room built for a P90, but I'm having serious doubts. I want a "True" high pressure bed. Is the P90 gonna disappoint me? I'm going with all UWE and Montego Bay beds. But like I said I'm just not sure if I should order the P90 if I'm so skeptical about it. Which one will my customers like the best? I'm in an upper class area so I think it will be a hit.
