Re: P90 or Matrix L33

I'm scared to buy a used bed. I've heard a lot of horror stories. I need something delivered and installed too. I'll check out that Iso L33 and L28 . But again, which one gives the best results? Or are they all the same thing with different casing?

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

P-90 has VHRTTs in the base.

That worries me.

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

If you buy used (Magic) you can hire Bryan to do the install, from what I have read and heard he is the best.

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

There is nothing wrong with buying used. Just make sure you get some referrals & come on here & put it buy the online community as to who the broker is. There are plenty of crooks out there that promise one thing & send another. I think someone in AZ had a used a L33 for sale recently.

You really need to try the units out & make up your own mind on such a large investment. Also allow plenty of time between tans so you can determine which is best. Some people make the mistake of tanning in HP units back to back, you really don't see peak color for 48 hours on most of the new units.

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

Well I'm not getting the P-90 for sure. I was always apprehensive about the VHRTT's on the bottom, and listening to everyone here, I was right.
I found a Magic 636 at a salon in Phoenix. I'm going to try it out today or tomorrow.
I'll look around for used ones, if I find one I'll definitely post it on here and get some opinions. Thank you everyone for all the advice!

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

When you do HP, you don't get instant color. After about 3 or 4 tans, BAM color overload. Only need 2-3 visits a month to maintain. Just so you know when you walk out and determine that you didn't get anything.

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

Actually, results are noticed in 3-4 hours after the session.

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

I thought people were saying they noticed color (in the Matrix at least) a couple hours after. I know that it takes a couple sessions to see the color in the Hp beds. I've just heard a lot of people say they noticed it that night. I have a pretty good tan right now, so hopefully that will give me a nice boost. :)

Re: P90 or Matrix L33

Take a sticker. If you normally use them, do a new one in a spot you don't normally use already.

Use a good lotion. Lotion is always important, but in HP it is critical!

Yes - with an aggressive HP bed like the Matrix/Iso, you'll see some results in the first few hours as noted. But the more impressive result will be how it continues to deepen, as well as staying longer. A good test would be to then NOT tan for a week or two to see if you feel your color is lasting longer than it normally does when you use VHR beds to tan.

As noted - no bed is really a "one tan will do" if you really want to judge the best results. But you can certainly judge the "experience", the "wow" factor and all those others things too that your customers will also be judging.
