Re: Radiance Lamps

Wow what a wide spectrum of responses. I also just relamped with Radiance 7000 in one bed and Radiance R2 in another bed. Haven't heard either way from the customer yet. But, no one is saying they are getting great or no results, which is almost scary. Im going to relamp 3 more beds next week, but from the overall response here I do not think I will purchase more Radiance lamps. And I did have some bulbs that were no lighters, which I never have that with Cosmedico bulbs.

Re: Radiance Lamps

My experience with Radiance lamps has been good only on 100watt base beds only. It seems when you use their 160 watt lamps they are poor performers in mid level beds. The tans don't last and are weak in color. Not recommended above 100 watt applications- Don't WASTE your Money.

Re: Radiance Lamps

Radiance lamps are Voltarc lamps. Just private labeled. They won't work any better than Voltarc lamps will.

Re: Radiance Lamps

Voltarc had had lots of problems with their 160w lamps over the years. The make a solid 100w but stay away from the 160watt.

Re: Radiance Lamps

I have had my Radiance lamps for 5 months and they have already lost 1/2 their power! We are a small salon. I'm really upset because I was assured that they were a good long-lasting lamp! I'm going back to Wolff lamps - any suggestions? I have Sonnebraun Body Scan beds. Talked with a few people but still skeptical.

Re: Radiance Lamps

I have Mid-Day sun lamps. Good price and so far they are working REALLY well.

Call John at URI. He knows his stuff. Ultraviolet Resources Inc. 216.898.7777

I had some Radiance face tanners - they SUCKED. It was like they did not even put out any UV light after just a couple hours of use.

You get what you pay for. If you pay nothing for something, what have you gotten?
