They are whatever the manufacturer set the time to be. 30min just means BASIC LAMPAGE or what I suggested. REAL LOW UVB% like the 9K90 goldariums.

I'm sure that same bed comes in 10/12/15/20 min setups also. No difference other than the timer.

So why do people get impressed when you say your base bed is a 15 minute bed? I could have a 25 min bed, and TELL them it's a 15 min bed?

essentially. The thing is 15min you need to pull your lamps earlier. 20min beds will tan anyone for a long long time if you get the correct lamps.
30min you NEVER have to change them.
