Tan America Beds.. dont get it.

Hello everyone! I've been doing some reading on here and I think I'm ready to ask my first question. I've been working at the same Planet Beach since 2004 and recently was promoted to a manager. I've always thought I had a good understanding of our Tan America beds but I hear so many different stories about them. How is it possible for two if our VIP series beds to be 160w on top and 100w on bottom?

This is a list of what we have, what do you think?
Have any of you used the Beach Sun bulbs before? Are they better or worse than the Tan America recommendations?
What about the different Signature Series bulbs?

VHO puts out about 30% more than HO lamps do thanks to a reflector in the lamp.

Tan America is an "interesting" company as they like to use magnetic ballasts that just suck in tanning beds but the beds are nice to look at.

VHO is a non reflector lamp! VHO/R is the reflector version.

VHO will be 15 min. VHR will be 12 or less.

Tan America beds are one of the best in the industry and light source lamps work extremely well in these units.

If you've never had Tan America Beds you would'n t have any idea of how dependable they are and how easy they are to maintain. I didn't know any Planet Beach salons had Tan America beds. All the ones around here are ETS private label.

They have a problem with the new ers lamps. They have magnetic ballasts which tend to burn up the new era lamps in 200 - 300 hours and to me they look like they were designed in the 80's._____________:glasses:
