Re: sun italia magic 636
Great unit, but I doubt that you will find a used Magic with less than a thousand hours. There are not many units that someone wants to give up. A new one I think is about 39,000.

Re: sun italia magic 636
If you consider combos into the mix the ergoline, uwe, and Dr Muller combos will out tan this unit, just off the vertical mounted lamps. If not, the Mastersun gives better color and has more of a wow factor in a salon, oh and the Matrix we cannot forget - especially the new Iso Italia units that are sick looking.
This year will change many peoples perspective of this unit with the tan america 360 solarix, and the new Ergoline 360 HP being released in time for the Nashville show. The adjustable ballast feature is more wide spreadnow, so it no longer gives the Magic the edge in a buyers mind any longer. |

Re: sun italia magic 636
First of all, a combo is not a true high pressure unit. You and I know why these companies build combos. If a P90 cost 45,000 for a mattress bed, what do you think the 360 version of this bed would cost. No one would buy them.
When you make a combo bed, you defeat the advantage of the high pressure part. When you tell someone about how with the high pressure your skin does not exfoliate as often, how do you explain the low pressure bulbs on the bottom. As far as the Ergoline out tanning the Magic, there is an owner of the Ergoline on this board complaining because it only meters in the 80's, my Magic meters in the 130's and can do this for 1000 hours or more. To quote our most famous bed repair guru, "what are you smoking?" Ergoline is not known for out tanning much of anything, much less the Magic. Maybe a few Sunvision beds but that is about it. __________________:glasses: |

Re: sun italia magic 636
First off too many people bash Ergoline on theses forums. I have seen so many successful salons carry ergoline. Customer service, may be an issue with the US distributor, but that should not take away that they are pretty good at what they do. In Germany they are recognized as a leader in Tanning.
The magic is still over-rated, runs hot, takes soooo much electricity. IMO I would buy something else. Besides, if I could charge the same amount for a P90 or a Magic 636, what would you buy? Personally the P90 costs less to operate, less to relamp, and looks better. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I am just stating mine. You can disagree, but thats why its a discussion forum. par‧a‧bol‧ic1 /ˌpær əˈbɒl ɪk/Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[par-uh-bol-ik]Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation–adjective 1.having the form or outline of a parabola. 2.having a longitudinal section in the form of a paraboloid or parabola:3.of, pertaining to, or resembling a parabola.
