Re: sun italia magic 636

The price for that unit with around 1000 hours should be somewhere around $15K-$18K

Re: sun italia magic 636

Yes, the P90 uses less electricity and it may cost less to relamp it one time but you will have to relamp it twice as often. P90 relamped every 400 - 500 hours compared to the Magic every 1000 hours or more.

If you choose the combo P90, you have defeated the advantage of the high pressure, if you choose the mattress version, the session is over 20 minutes. You can turn many more sessions per day in the Magic compared to the P90 and if you can charge the same for a P90 and the Magic, why would you pay thousands of dollars more for the P90.

The older version of the Magic did run hot, but the newest version with the
Mugg6 glass runs much cooler than the Matrix. It also has misting and aroma therapy built in. You never answered my question, what high pressure bed do you have in your salon? _______________:glasses:

You gotta cut back on the rock. "I have seen so many successful salons carry ergoline." can be just as true if you said

"I have seen so many successful salons carry ergoline go under HARD from extreme exaggeration of expected revenue and tanning ability"

Re: sun italia magic 636

Ergoline is recognized as the leader in tanning in Germany because they sell the most beds. Using that logic, ETS is the leader in the U.S. because they sell the most here. Makes you want to go out and buy a salon full of ETS beds doesn't it. TWO, I never thought I would ever say this, I agree with you.____________________:glasses:

Re: sun italia magic 636

The Ergoline staff in Germany will be the first to tell you that they are disappointed about how the equipment is thought of in the US market.

You hit it right on the head - they sell the most why?
Just like honda and toyota sell alot of cars why??...
Ets sells the most because they are the cheapest and also focus on the home tanning bed market.
You cannot compare an ETS unit to Ergoline - thats not fair.

Re: sun italia magic 636

I haven't metered a P-90 yet but it has the same glass and lamps as a Sunboard XTT so I would guess it meters in the high 50's. THere is no way a p-90 will outmeter a Magic.

Magic is true HP, Lots of browning power. High UVA.

Who gives a $h!t how a company is doing in another country. We are in the USA and Ergo does not satisfy the US market and the support provided is: "Will you be expressing us a check or do you want to put that on a credit card today."

You are hung up on WOW factor, you need to concentrate on performance. Good UVA output requires alot of power. You will not get true HP performance out of 500 watt radial mount lamps in a parabolic reflector. This configuratiion provides high B, not what HP is designed to be.

I also take it that you do not have enough power to run a Magic?

Re: sun italia magic 636

I have metered the P-90, and it was less than 15 days out of the box at the time.

mid 50's MAX canopy and bench, running Cosmo VHR-tt's in the bench. If memory serves correctly, bed was a 15 min Te on the 7.0 meter.

rather unbalanced canopy to bench too Te wise.
