HELP with software

Hello, I bought a tanning program online (from a salon that closed down) called TanTrack and it let's me enter the information but not cash anyone out. I just opened my salon a few weeks ago and I dont know a whole lot about the software. Does anyone know what I need to do to make it work? Thanks so much..

Did you get the "key" aka dongle with the program?

What he^ said. Without the dongle, Tan Track stays in demo mode. That allows you to play with 7 customers to learn the program.

What do you mean it won't let you cash out? Go to employees and check the restrictions that are set for you. You may not have given yourself the permission.

I'm sorry.. Can you tell me what the key code is for? I'm not sure about all this
I only have a small salon and did not need a large software program for it, but I think I may have gotten ripped off.. I sure hope not!

The "key" or dongle, if as with Helios Software, plugs into the back of your computer between the tower and the printer plug-in, this will allow you to use the program out of the Demo Mode and carry out sales etc..

The dongle can be a USB plug too. (that is what mine is). If you do not have this device, you just have a demo. Call Nichesoft and talk to their support team.

Well.. I checked out what you said she sent me NOTHING to plug into my comp. so I guess this one just wont work. I cant believe someone would be so evil to sell something when thing's are missing. I guess I should have learned more about the software... :(

Yes well, if all you got was a disc with the program, then you are stuck in DEMO mode. :(
