Matrix L33 Relamp kit

Had Tan America install the new plug in kit in my Matrix, now the lamps are taking up to 2 min to light. They told me now that I probably need to replace the igniters. Has anyone else had this problem? :(

Let me guess you purchsed the USHIO lamps? The gas in those lampst are not consistant with the ISO lamps. Which will result in a slow start up. Suggestion send those back and get the ISO Lamps.

Looks pretty frickin stupid when you have a 40k+ plus bed and it taking 2-3 minutes for lamps to start so your session time acutally just got cut by 2-3 minutes also.

Do You think replacing the igniters will do the trick? Have heard that the ISO lamps won't work in the Tan America plug-in kit.

Replace those Ignitors it's going to cost you a pretty penny. I told you what to do if you want a good lamp with no headaches follow my instructions otherwise don't. I'm not selling ISO lamps. I just KNOW IT ALL!!!!

Did anyone at TA ask you if you had 400w ignitors? How old is your L33?

This is pretty PATHETIC that this person has what is regarded as one of the BEST TANNING MACHINES OUT THERE and he can't even get the thing working properly.

They didn't ask if it had 400w ignitors, but would have thought they would have, since they sold it to me. It is 4 years old.

If you have an older machine you probably have 400 watt ignitors for your 600 watt lamps. You will need the 1000 watt ignitors for the new retro lamps.

the earlier units used 400W igniters and did not work when the lamps were replaced with heraeus. change the igniters to 1000W type.. Do some shopping as you can get them under 20.00
