Re: Matrix L33 Relamp kit

Don,

Since ISO Italia lamps are listed on my TA Matrix unit as the OEM lamp, isn't it safe to say that according you I am out of compliance if I use the new TA lamp? The new TA lamp does not say ISO Italia anywhere on it.

Re: Matrix L33 Relamp kit

I did just return from my salon which has an original "Matrix" unit, which I purchase from Tan America.

The label on the bed does indicate that the only compatible lamps are ISO Italia lamps.

John, since I can no longer use the TA lamps from Asia, can you sell ISO brand lamps to me?
I would really hate for my inspector to see me using Tan America lamps when they are not listed as a compatible lamp.

Re: Matrix L33 Relamp kit

I do have the original ISO Super Light wire leads in stock (OEM) & also the ISO Retro Kits which use the ISO Evolution Light double end snap in lamps.

email me with how many you need & we will get them on the way!

Don,

Do you care to answer this question?

The label on the bed does indicate that the only compatible lamps are ISO Italia lamps. Per your earlier post, must I only use ISO lamps? That is certainly what you were implying when you said , "The “bottom line” folks, is that there are no compatibility sheets available for replacement HID/high pressure sunlamps and so if an inspector asks for one, you are out of luck. That’s why the only “safe” thing to do (today) is to use the HID/hp sunlamp listed on the label of the sunbed."

Re: Matrix L33 Relamp kit

There is no compatability required on the HP lamps. only the accession number. if the inspector has a problem have them call manny at the FDA and ask.

I do believe that is correct, but according to Don it is not safe to use anything but what is listed on the label of the sunbed. My Matrix by Tan America listed ISO Italia lamps as the ONLY recommended lamp, hence by Don's own recommendation I should not use any lamp but one manufactured by ISO Italia.

Since Don receives compensation from Tan America (according to earlier post), how does Tan America feel about his recommendation. Did he put his foot in his mouth by making this recommendation? I suppose that is why he will not respond to my post.

Re: Matrix L33 Relamp kit

Is it true these kits are hard to come by now? Also if anybody made the conversion how is it so far getting new lamps? Are you now limited where you can buy your lamps from?

Eileen, they just arrived in late yesterday. Plenty in stock now. The Italians & Germans close for most of August for vacations. Makes it a bit hard to get product in a timely manner.
