Buck Or not?

I have a 1 kva buck booster and a zx 32 3f sunstar. It requires 230 in the manual and it says 220 on the tag.

I have the diagram for the booster but it doesn't tell me where to hook up the input lines or output lines, i need to buck my power by 12 volts because i'm gettin anywhere from 246- 250 with the bed not running, its about 6 volts less running.

real problem is i don't know where the power goes in the booster and out.

Re: Buck Or not?

What buck booster do you have? Don't use the diagram on the outside of the booster. Most are not correct for tanning bed use. I need to know what the name brand of the booster is and then I can help you.

Re: Buck Or not?

^^ what he said. The wiring is dependant on the voltage in and the desired voltage out. It's different for different voltages. You will need application guide for the transformer you have and sort through the tables.
