Re: Sunvision ZX30 won't reset.

Try sending a Cancel session from the T-Max Manager (on a manager, press the Set and Start/Stop buttons together for the room in question. On a T-Max Manager/Pro, press Time then Enter for that room). This should clear the clean room. If it does, you may have a faulty push button on the tanning bed.

Re: Sunvision ZX30 won't reset.

That's what I was thinking too Kev. But he says that she can cycle the power to the unit (thereby "rebooting" the main board) and the button works a few more times. Sounds like a main board fault or a fault on the board behind the membrane (customer controls) in the canopy. Good luck with this.

Re: Sunvision ZX30 won't reset.

I'm thinking a intermittent button problem. Sometimes you press it and it works, sometimes not. That's why I want to know if the clean rooms can be canceled from the manager without cycling power to the bed.

Re: Sunvision ZX30 won't reset.

Sorry man, didn't mean to sound argumentative there. I read this one and thought it was from the original poster: Yoco wrote - "I have the 2003 bed, same as yours. I have the exact same problem. Someone tans and the bed wont reset unless I switch the breaker. TMax alone wont reset it. I was going to ask dist. today. Ill let you know." My bad. -Belvy

Re: Sunvision ZX30 won't reset.

If it was just the button, the display would still show the 2 decimal points like it normally does, but when the problem occurs, it is blank. Yoco say has the same problem and it won't reset from the tmax. I haven't tried that since I've been busy dealing with the police and Mr. Peesonbed.

So it could also be the main board. how big a deal is that to change??

Re: Sunvision ZX30 won't reset.

Is the breaker "tripped" to the unit when this problem occurs?

Re: Sunvision ZX30 won't reset.

No, it's not tripped. We shut off power to it from the electrical panel breaker just to reset it.

The other thing is that the Tmax still must see the bed, since it doesn't sound the alarm like it does when a bed disappears from the network.

Re: Sunvision ZX30 won't reset.

Sounds like a power fault to the customer display panel to me. Could be a low voltage transformer in the tray having a problem, bad cable connection to the customer control board behind the membrane, shorted wire that has burned through the installation and is not getting get continuity anymore. I'd start by checking the membrane and circuit board, and following the cabling from that connection back to the tray until I found the fault. Good luck.
