Re: New Sundash beds?????????????

new sundash beds use electronic ballast so you cannot get more out of the bed like choke ballast by increasing the voltage. The new beds are difficult to work in since there are no trays to access the elec ballast, everything is inside the bench and canopy.

old sundash uses magnetic ballast ( last forever)
new sundash uses electronic ballast ( intermittently ballast go bad)
old sundash easy to work on parts readily accesible.
new sundash electronic parts will get expensive.
old sundash has rdc lamps (no starters)
new sundash needs starters therefore more expensive to maintain and uses bi-pin lamps
