Re: Best HP Systems out there??

We opened our new salon back in November and added 2 Acclaim High Pressure by Heartland. All I can say is WOW! Our customers love these beds! We have had sever customers that were tanning (compet salon)in the Ergoline 850 that said they will never tan in anything else. This bed is amazing for immediate color and color continues to develop over 48 hours. Not one complaint and no burning. I have a red head that work for me that had not tanned in quite some time and she got amazing color, full time tanned and wow she looked great. She can now go off to school over two weeks and come back home and tan prior to her shift and she has kept great color!

Re: Best HP Systems out there??

My salon has the Matrix L33 and the Ultra Bronz Supernova (special edition) and the Matrix gave an awesome tan, but got way too hot, but it was a cool experience tho. But the Supernova gave me one of the best tans i have ever had, EVER! The nice thing also is the relaxing mattress, the HUGE fan so it doesnt get too hot. And the fact that it is a 24 minute bed. Longer time to relax...

Re: Best HP Systems out there??

How much do these matrix and whatnot cost?

Right now I am working with two tanses tx-32 and two hex II standups. I have room for two more units with built on dressing rooms on the floor, and then 3 more rooms. I was not sure what to put in these other rooms. I am thinking of moving the other HEX II out to the floor, buy a dressing room, and one more hex. Then I have 4 rooms to work with, two of the base model laydowns, two of the HEX standups... and 4 rooms.

So from there what should I do? I was thinking two higher performance laydowns, 1 HP laydown and 1 HP Standup, like the matrix ones the staundup and laydown l33 and v28.

But I need to know how much the Matrix are... sounds like they are in the neighbourhood of about 50,000 new.

Re: Best HP Systems out there??

I find the matrix L33 doesn't get to hot if you follow setting up the AC vents properly. The fans in it are extremely efficient if you have the cool air vent above to draw the cool air onto the tanner.

Re: Best HP Systems out there??

dcjjp2 you are smoking crack - the Matrix L-33 is suggested retail 43,995 but no one ever pays that - _ paid in hi 30s for mine and hi 20s for the V28. and there is not a lot of other equipment that tans better than the Matrix. I dont know what you base that on - but there is a very good reason the Matrix has won the Industry Choice award for the past two years. It is one of the top performing, highest $$ generating, and most reliable systems out there. If there was better HP why would so many chain salons that have HP drop other lines and go exclusively with the Matrix? Sheez Its ok to have a personal preference and state it as such - but dont make false statements that you cant back up

Re: Best HP Systems out there??

Thats the best thing about being tied to golds gym, theres pretty much a guarantee of growth, if I bomb out, my landlord (owner of golds gym) takes over everything and runs with it.

But the nice thing is that with Gold's Gym, whatever we buy, we are going to go the same for all the salons (so that we can offer the same pricing across the board)

I am building 4 in Edmonton, they are builing 4 in Calgary, then they will expand out to ontario and vancouver, and if I want, and have the capital, I can go with them and open the salons within golds gym there, as long as I make sure that Golds Gym customers are benefiting from my business being there, so as long as I take care of golds gym, they take care of me..... Including the volume discounts. :)
