Wolf System Lamps
I relamped my Tan America stand up with Wolf System 160W VSRs and didn't get 300 hours out of them. They started blowing at 250 hours and I've replaced 18 lamps this month. Does anybody know if this is a normal life span for these lamps? I used to get 450 hours out of Light Sources 160s. And they weren't blowing out then. I guess I should go back to them.

Re: Wolf System Lamps
You're using 73" 160W lamps and a 120V ballast. Your voltage is constant, not too high. Rapid start ballasts are rough on lamps. Too rough for the VSR. Go back to Light Sources, they tan great and they hold up, good maintenance over the life of the lamp.
