Do you only have one? I have two of them and have had no problems with them. They just hit 500 hours and getting new lamps changed tonight. How long have you had it?

Has anyone ever verified the voltage to the bed??? maybe you are under or over powering the unit??? Also, what lamps are in it??? The lamp probably would not cause it, but you never know!!

I have 2 Vipers and never once had a problem. As mentioned, check your voltage.

Seems as though the bed is getting to hot.

this bed does tend to get real hot. I have one, it has just a little over 100 hours on it. I did have a freakish problem with it just yesterday. I had a client go in and the bulbs wouldn't turn on just the fan. I wasn't in the store so I couldn't see for myself but when I arrived the bed seemed to be working just fine.

Will the bed shut itself down if it gets to hot?

Yes beds will not fire up the lamps if it isn't properly cooled. Never had my Vipers shut down, but did have Orbit act this way.

Do you have your beds vented outside or in the ceiling?

I have one never had one problem with it , your answer to the bulbs not on is the timer not set right. it will do that until the permeter is set right
