The beds are finally here........It was scheduled for 8:00 AM, so I came in early to let them in (we open at 9:00) 2 hours and 45 minutes later,they showed up(10:45 AM). It may be the fault of their third party shipping outfit, but that's not my problem......it's Heartland's. And you're right on the nose dcjjp2, time is money,and believe me they know I'm not happy,I've made that pretty clear. We have been telling our customers we're getting our new equipment, and have been made out to be a liar THREE times. It looks bad for us, like we're the ones at fault, we have to be closed the entire day to get this done.We were planning on letting everyone know in advance instead of them having to just show up and find out for themselves and being ****** off. We''ll have to make up for that.Also,our electrician had to be rescheduled three times, he's not exactly able to be waiting on the sidelines for my phone call. Here's another kicker......the installers had NO IDEA that they had to take our old beds out first,this is something that was discussed only about a million times. Again, this is not necessarily John's fault,as I said he did all he could on his end and has promised to make this up to us with free product,discounts,etc. , and does really feel terrible about the whole thing.Obviously though, other arrangements have to be made with shipping if this is going to be a continuing problem, their attempt to to save some money on shipping is costing us money, it looks really bad for Heartland. Not exactly a smooth transaction by any means.......Dayle, hopefully you have a little more organized experience with receiving your beds than we did, good luck with your new purchase.I'll let you guys know how everything goes and what kind of compensation we receive because of all this.
