There are a few JetPowers left and a very few 17000s. After that they are discontinued. UltraSun International has streamlined the line and added the 4500 as a substitute for the also discontinued 4000.

The STAYl line is still seperate at this time so I have no info on that fine product.

I swear the glass in that unit looked gold at the tradeshow when they introduced it!

Were you in Las Vegas when Jay Leno's guy, the big one got in the 25000? He was so big the canopy hardly closed on him. But to answer your question, I think the original introduction display unit may have had the GoldFlex filters in it. The production units use the blue glass.

GoldFlex was an option on Sunbreeze, Solarwind, Powerhouse, and JetPower units after 2004. They put a gold coating on the Blue Glass as a way to look different than the rest, like some HP units that use the Silver Coating over the Clear Glass. The effect is the same.

The 25000 uses the Blue Glass Filters and they get the Gold from the Andromeda Colony.

I believe Ultra mad a mistake doing away with the body style of the Sunburst. I do not like the looks of the replacement 4500. The lounge is not as wide/flat. Appears, from pictures (I did not see it in person), to be to curved and tight.

The old 4000 had some great features, they were just not ergonomically easy to work with. The new 4500 is much improved in that area. The base is actually roomier and the acrylic much easier to deal with. The Solar contol is above the client's head instead of outside the machine.

The facials have been turned sideways to allow full length lamps in the canopy and it uses 190 cm lamps in the base.
