Nstan...how long have you had Lumiere? I am interested in your efforts...how many people do you direct mail your offer?
Did you direct mail your database? Did you try and reach"the masses"..if so , how did you advertise to them? What type of packages did you offer to people? What specials did you offer to draw them in? How long did it take the "right age group" to see the benefits? What type of conditions did you see really benefit from the service? |

I've had the Lumiere since December and had very little success with it. Don't get me wrong, it does work just very hard to market. I think the main problem is their are so many fountain of youth promises out there that some people think this is just another one. I have one more advertising campaign in July, if that doesn't create more interest then mine will probably be up for sale. Any interest?

I talked to many Lumiere owners in Vegas, and I think it boils down to one point...Does your staff sell.
Promoting this system is difficult at best; you need to be able to close the sale. With the new price points there is even more profit than ever. Get people under the light by giving a trial session, then offer 10-20% off a package if they sign-up that day. As for immediate results: Give them the "going to the gym" analogy. Day one - you know you did something (but no visable results), week 1-3 you might start to see something, Month 3-4 WOW, a new you! Promotions: Get it in front of people: set up a booth at expos (womens expo, business expo, health fairs, ect.) Set up a referral program with hair-stylist, nail-techs, ect. Pay them a 10% commission on all new clients first package. -Tom |

How much would a typical visit be? A package? For example, to get to that Month 3-4 "WOW" to see a new you, how much would you have invested? How many times would you have gone?
And what is the "maintenance" like? For example, once you are at a "new you" - do you still go as often? Or like a gym or diet, can you "drop back" a little and keep it at that level? I'm intrigued, and invite you to "share" more (with no risk of being accused of spamming!)! |

Without going into to too much pricing detail, let me just say that the packages are very simple to understand and sell. The pricing is extremely affordable, especially considering the amounts of money being spent on the semi surgical alternatives that sort of produce the same results. Maximum results are typically seen in 90-120 days of following the regimes, but a customer could be satisfied with their results after one month and decide to go for a once a month maintenance regime or not rebuy at all, or opt for another 30 day regime to keep the improvements accellerating. Contact RAI at [l]www.pathwaytobeauty.com[/l] for infromation and to set up a meeting with the rep in your state. Good luck out there.

We saw them at Vegas and my wife asked one of them if it was Infra-red!
The guy said No, not at all it is 633 nanometers??? Which of course is in the Infra-red spectrum! My wife felt that they were more interested in selling the lotions & accessories than the benefits of the IR light. IR has been used for years to help reduce inflamation, cure joint pain & many others benefits |

Infrared light lies between the visible and microwave portions of the electromagnetic spectrum. Infrared light has a range of wavelengths, just like visible light has wavelengths that range from red light to violet. "Near infrared" light is closest in wavelength to visible light and "far infrared" is closer to the microwave region of the electromagnetic spectrum. The longer, far infrared wavelengths are about the size of a pin head and the shorter, near infrared ones are the size of cells, or are microscopic. Far infrared waves are thermal. In other words, we experience this type of infrared radiation every day in the form of heat! The heat that we feel from sunlight, a fire, a radiator or a warm sidewalk is infrared. The temperature-sensitive nerve endings in our skin can detect the difference between inside body temperature and outside skin temperature. YES IT IS IR! _________________ [ This Message was edited by: JOHN @ URI on 2005-06-22 08:03 ] |
