I have tried them and recomend them. However what bed are you putting them in there are other choices out there that may be better depending on the bed you have. The 9k90 is very bronzing with long life and great for a 12 minute exposure. I would recomend a either the heraus 4/160 or lightsource A-power if it is a 10 minute exposure they have little more UVB.

Sorry, but I had to trash mine after a few weeks--not enough "B" customers were very unhappy. Cosmedico 160 REF. TT's do good.

What kind of unit did you have them in that made your clients unhappy?

We use Cosmolux 9k90 and have had VERY GOOD results. Call Sheryl ex. 124 @ Heartland. She steered us in this direction and has been very helpful. Also, the 12 minutes is great...customers like that amount of time....seems to be just right.

I've got the 9k90 bulb in my SonnenBraune 844 Gold bed, and my clients LOVE them!

Yes, the 9k90 bulb has less UVB than the standard VHR bulb... But, the clients using that bed don't want the UVB- they're out for the bronzing results.

If you're looking for a higher UVB, check out the VHR TT bulbs. They've got that great VHR output, with a higher amount of UVB.

I just got a mailing from SunCapsule that had very good pricing on the Cosmolux Bulbs. I talked to Gwen, and she was VERY helpful!

The 9K90s? I'm still in the 40s at over 500hrs. Started out the metering at 100hrs and it was bouncing off of 50-52. This is in a 154 Ovation (high canopy)

They are awesome.

FYI, my TTs are touching 550hrs and still putting out 40 on the 5.0. (close proximity)
