Do I need a stand up? - tanTALK

I have been opened now for 3 weeks and im looking to add 2 more beds. Im not sure if I need a stand up or not. A lot of people ask me if we have stand ups but most of them have never even tried them they are just curious if we have them. What percentage of your clients would you estimate use your stand ups?

OMG, Tyler, are you serious?? YOU NEED A STAND UP !!! Dont worry about whether or not people have ever used them, because once they feel the raw power of a VHR Booth, they will be lining up to use them. I have 4 beds, and 2 stand ups. Customers use the stand ups alot. It is the BEST ALL AROUND TAN you can get!! NO QUESTION= get one!!
If you were smart, you would look into "The Bermuda Triangle" Booth.
If you cant spend that much, get a SunDazzler. Stay away from SunDome, Hex...
SunCapsule is okay too

Industry Stats: less than 10% of standups are used..have no more than one, if any. Make it at least 50 lamps 180+

Industry Stats= pile of crap. The reason could be that 90% use HEX booths and THAT's the reason no one uses them. They do nothing. Bermuda Triangle looks interesting. Have you tanned in one? I'm scared of buying into anything that NEEDS to use a lamp by Voltarc.

I have a hex and a sundome with very good lamps in them and nobody stays away from these beds. Sometimes we have a waiting list for these awful beds. Buy a stand-up.

Okay....Hex..SunDome....LOL=crap!! (and T.I. is still doing good w/ them) I dont know what statistics you are deriving this information from, but I guarantee that if you put a GOOD stand up in your salon, people will line up to use it!! Engfant, I am not sure about the Triangle having to use ONLY Voltarc lamps? But, I will check into it... You are in Mass., and so is the company I am looking to by one from..SunDoctors in N.Attleboro....Mike is a really cool guy, and he knows his stuff. I went up there about 2 weeks ago, and they let me try the 50 lamp triangle.....Can I say WOW!! I went in right after someone, and it never got really too hot...has an awesome cooling system, not like a wind tunnell either!!
Looked really cool too...has a platform that you stand on, so your feet even get tan!!
It has 200 watt lamps, and let me say, the color i got brought my tan to the next level.
I have 2 SunDazzlers (which I think are better than SunCapsules), and the Bermuda Triangle is definitely better than the Super Cyclone!!

I have 6 beds and 2 standups and do well with my standups. There are some people that do not want to tan in a "coffin".

Yes T.I. is doing well with his crap. Hex+ Sundome=$$$$$...LOL Can't argue with jkonturass though...He is an experienced tantalker and knows everything. Can I say Kerry supporter?

Stand ups are great. I have found this unit out of the UK. Has sixty (60) 200 watt, 2 meter lamps. Has 3, 6 or 9 minute session times. Starts at less than $10,000.
