Yes. In the worst case, you just add a P&B Radio Shack relay and it will. But I don't think Prosun has used anything but contactors for years now, so it should work.

Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

I have various prosun lumina units....32sli, 34sli, 40e......where is a good place to purchase the acrylic supports that are in the deck that go over the lamps??

The support are made of acrylic and hold up the acrylic which the client lays on....

Also....does anyone know of a technician with experience working on prosun???..even if i can only get him on the phone on occassion!!

Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

I have two Omega Pro, Spray Booths. Purchased used, nightmare but anyway. Does anyone know from experience what a good setting for the timing and color would work well. The person I purchased from did not support the product he sold to us. Also trying to find out if anyone knows how I can obtain the video of the stances for the spray tanning clients? Any ideas, I sure would appreciate it. I actually stopped using the beds due to constant complaints from my clients and am out of ideas. Anyone have any?

Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

Stan (tanfxr) I've hooked up the Luxura, Lumina and a few others to a data base and had no issues without adding a relay. Just used the by pass to the switch and it was fine.

Also, every prosun I have worked on DIDN"T have contactors in them and I was lost for a little while working on them. Had issues witht the blower fans getting power but figured it out.

Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

Hey how's it going Jeff. The EZ connect Databases shouldn't have had any problems. Only the old ones with RA 25's should have, and only those with the solid state relays, and only those that were hooked up to some of Prosun's earlier Luxuras.

I've still got some Databases and Database parts lying around on the shelves if you need anything.

Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

Oh yes, didn't really notice RA25, now I see. I've got some ez connect boxes and swithes left. I've ran into a few data bases I've picked up but they are normally sold the day I get them. If you have any data bases let me know and I will take them. Have a good one Stan.

Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

I have a salon with all prosun beds. 5 saphire 2800 duals, 2 lumnia C and 1 lumina E bed. I use Suntouch software and t-max timers with a t-max manager. Beds are turned on and off with the Suntouch. My Saphire beds are almost two years old. My saphire beds sporatically cut off while in use. Usually we can restart them and they will come right back on. Most recently one that I havent had problems with in the past cut off and we cant get it to turn back on. We have pushed the red button, switched the breaker on and off and no luck...any idea what is going on with these beds? Could it be in the t-max? Our second busy season is here (college just started back) and we need to be at full capacity. Thanks!

Unhappy Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

I have a prosun onyx 28 Dual where the bench fans have stopped working. The bed is 3 years old, and I don't know how to fix the problem. The fans are riveted into the bed.

Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

lanierjm- I had the same problem with my prosun sapphire dual 2800 beds. its your 3 minute relay timer. I've had my beds for 3 years, and each bed has needed its relay timer replaced 3 times (once per year), so I suggest keeping some in your backstock. good luck.

Re: Help with Prosun Technical questions

I could sure use some help. About a year ago we bought a used Prosun Luxura said to be working. When we went to pick it up they had disassembled it. We loaded it up an got it home. Put it together and nothing!! Could not get sellers to return calls. Anyway, call Prosun and they said it was one of the circuit boards. I sent both to a repair company. Got them back and still nothing. I called prosun again and we tried a couple of things and we got it working but this is what we had to do. Open the canopy and move a small switch on the left side circuit board, then set time on timer, then go back to circuit board and move the switch the other way, then get in the bed and push start. That's what we had to do. And it worked for about a year. Then the wife heard the fans running by themselves when the bed hadn't been used. She unplugged the bed and waited a while then plugged it back in. The word "error" was in the display. I checked what I could then just gave up. Now I am back trying to fix it. Now the word "standby" is in the display but I can't get it to come on. Help!
